5959 Corporate Drive is a 537,000 square foot office building in West Houston. When this building was marketed for sale by its longtime corporate owner-occupant, Prescott saw an opportunity to create one of the premiere Class A mixed-use telecommunications real estate assets in North America in terms of power, fiber, redundant back up power systems, structural floor loading, parking and operations. Prescott underwrote the building, completed due diligence and closed in 45 days at a basis of $44 per square foot in 1999. An additional six acres of land was also acquired adjacent to the building for future development.
