Position Summary & Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Maintain rollup financial models for each of Prescott Advisor’s funds, ensuring the accuracy of all information, including historical and projected asset cash flows, investor contributions/distributions and fund‑level expenses
  • Consolidate investment-level cash flows into fund-level models to calculate performance returns, fund composition metrics, and investor performance
  • Coordinate with asset and portfolio managers in valuing portfolio investments on a quarterly basis
  • Run performance measurement analytics on existing portfolio as well as conduct what-if analysis for hold/sell scenarios and pipeline investments
  • Support the Fund Controller with the quarterly reporting process and management of 3rd party administrator
  • Assist with investor requests for portfolio performance at fund and investment level
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining benchmarking of portfolio performance.
  • Communicate with numerous people across virtually all departments of the firm (Asset Management, Acquisitions, Fund Accounting, Property Accounting, Investor Relations, Legal, Executive, etc.) to handle all the matters related to portfolio analytics
  • Assist in researching various real estate markets and assisting IR with preparing white papers
  • Coordinate, assist, and review valuations prepared by deal team

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, economics, accounting or finance required)
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Subject matter expertise in real estate investments, real estate financial and portfolio modeling; cash flow valuation and underwriting a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Yardi experience or similar accounting software, preferred
  • Experience with Argus, preferred
  • Analyze and interpret various types of data to draw conclusions and solve problems
  • Must be detailed oriented and possess strong analytical, due diligence, and problem-solving skills
  • Successfully manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Superior oral/written communication skills, demonstrates confidence and enthusiasm
  • High level of engagement, collaborative and team-oriented, proactive, and positive with a can-do attitude
